Description

Characteristics

High standards of mechanical ventilation for adults and children in any clinical condition and under any operating conditions.
Dräger Savina® is an advanced high quality ventilator that combines high performance with ease of use. Designed to ventilate both adult and pediatric patients, Savina® provides effective therapy for any patient condition.
The all-round safety concept makes Savina® a natural choice for critical situations such as working in rural areas, earthquakes or where power goes out every now and then. Its internal battery can provide up to one hour of autonomy, and an optional external battery can extend that to 5 hours. Since the air is supplied from an integrated turbine, the Savina® does not require an external compressed air source – ideal for applications with limited infrastructure or where frequent transportation is required. Patient safety is enhanced by integrated sensors for minute volume, airway pressure and oxygen concentration.
Savina® provides all ventilation modes, with pressure and volume control, as well as pressure support for spontaneous breathing and non-invasive ventilation modes. Designed for adults and children, Savina provides state-of-the-art ventilation for a wide range of patients with any clinical condition.
Intuitive user interface makes it easy to learn how to use Dräger Savina®. You just need to select a parameter, adjust it and confirm the change. Changes are visualized on a high resolution color display. Savina® can also display your choice of static, dynamic, or digital real-time data or trends on an optional 12" color touchscreen display.
AutoFlow® adds the benefits of spontaneous breathing to volume-controlled modes. BIPAP combines pressure-controlled ventilation with spontaneous breathing at any moment and at any pressure. Non-invasive ventilation modes are complemented by highly sensitive triggers and effective leak compensation. Together, these features reduce ventilatory time, shorten weaning, avoid re-intubation, and reduce intubation-related complications.
