The BOWA ARC 303 electrosurgical unit (power 300 W) is the ideal solution for gynecology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, etc.
High class all-rounder - ARC 303
ARC 303 is a high-performance electrosurgical device (Germany) that provides excellent cutting and coagulation quality in general surgery, gynecology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, urology and orthopedics. Two monopolar and one bipolar instruments can be connected to it at the same time. The coagulator provides performance of all basic electrosurgical functions. The device is ideally positioned as a gynecological coagulator and a general surgical coagulator.
Simple and safe
When changing the type of tissue and changing the electrode contact area or the speed of the cut, the ARC CONTROL arc control system adjusts the output power to the minimum effective value required in each case. This produces exactly the power that is actually needed to achieve the desired electrosurgical effect.
Intuitive Quick Control
Monopolar and bipolar outputs are configured using quick access buttons, while all settings are displayed on the liquid crystal displays of the electrocoagulator. Additional equipment (cable holders and smoke evacuator) allows for a better view and increases the comfort of work.
Based on high technology
The ARC 303 has all the standard electrosurgical modes and has useful features such as bipolar autostart (AUTOSTART), neutral electrode safety (EASY), as well as memory for storing error codes and a continuous self-diagnosis system (ISSys).
Simultaneous activation of two electrode holders
In some operations, such as mastectomy, bypass surgery in cardiac surgery or the treatment of polytrauma in traumatology, simultaneous electrocoagulation in several anatomical areas is necessary. The capabilities of the coagulator allow you to reduce the number of switching between instruments to a minimum. The basic version of the ARC 303 device has the function of simultaneously activating two electrode holders and can be significantly expanded with additional equipment.
Advantages of using argon plasma electrosurgery:
Precise dosing of parameters through smooth adjustment of power and duration of use;
When using flexible probes, particularly fine coagulation is possible at a power of 1 W;
Good overview of the surgical field due to the absence of smoke;
Almost no odor due to significantly reduced flue gas emissions;
No carbonation;
Stable coagulation zone;
Easy handling due to large flash distance (from 10 mm) and rapid plasma ignition;
The minimum consumption of argon is from 0.1 l/min;
Limited penetration depth;
Low risk of perforation.
